Butter jade—also known as Butterstone or African jade—is a creamy yellow-green sedimentary stone found in the Greenstone Belt of Southern Africa. Formed over 2.5 billion years ago, it often contains fossilized layers of blue-green algae, making it one of the oldest stones used in jewelry work. How special is that?!

Size is not adjustable so please measure your wrist and ensure that this item will fit as you want to wear it.
How to care for your jewellery
Your jewellery is designed to be worn every day but taking care of your piece is important and will extend its life.
When you are not wearing your piece, please place it in its packaging away from sunlight.
Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering or washing.
Avoid contact with lotions, soap, oils and cleaning products.
Rub gently with a soft cloth to clean.
Elasticated bracelets should be rolled onto your hand and never stretched repeatedly.
Each piece is robust enough for daily wear but please take care with glass beads. If they are knocked on a hard surface or dropped, the beads can break or crack.
Returns and exchanges
Each piece is a one-off item or made as part of a very small batch. As a result, I don’t offer returns or exchanges for change of mind or wrong size. Please make sure you read the descriptions, sizing information and refer to the photos provided. If you are unsure about sizing, for example, please reach out before making a purchase
