How to care for your jewellery

Your jewellery is designed to be worn every day but taking care of your piece is important and will extend its life.

  • When you are not wearing your piece, please place it in its packaging away from sunlight.

  • Remove your jewellery before swimming, showering or washing.

  • Avoid contact with lotions, soap, oils and cleaning products.

  • Rub gently with a soft cloth to clean.

  • Elasticated bracelets should be rolled onto your hand and never stretched repeatedly.

  • Each piece is robust enough for daily wear but please take care with glass beads. If they are knocked on a hard surface or dropped, the beads can break or crack.

Returns and exchanges

Each piece is a one-off item or made as part of a very small batch. As a result, I don’t offer returns or exchanges for change of mind or wrong size. Please make sure you read the descriptions, sizing information and refer to the photos provided. If you are unsure about sizing, for example, please reach out before making a purchase

If you believe the item you have received is faulty, please send an email to doutre.designs@gmail.com within 7 days from receipt of your item and provide photos of the fault.

Please note that each item is handmade and may feature natural materials such as freshwater pearls and gemstones. Any variations in size, colour and shape in these natural materials is not a defect but reflects the natural beauty of raw materials

Shipping

All orders are shipped with Australia Post and are dispatched next business day. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking details.

Please ensure shipping information is entered correctly at checkout. I will not be responsible for any lost or returned packages due to incorrect shipping information or failure to collect from the post office.

I offer flat rate shipping as follows:

  • $10 flat rate standard shipping Australia wide (3-5 business days)

  • $15 flat rate express shipping Australia wide (1-2 business days)

  • $30 flat rate standard international shipping (estimate depends on region).
